The Emerging Scholars Program is a source for research and creative activity at the University of Alabama that allows undergraduates to cultivate professional skills through classes and working with faculty members. It is an opportunity for students to gain practical experience of the concepts they learn in the classroom and engage in cutting-edge work in their field from an early age. Outside of the academic benefits of applying to be an Emerging Scholars, students also begin to create a network for their post-graduation careers by working with peers and mentors who are interested in the same areas.

Conference Cooridnator
The Undergraduate Research & Creative Activity Conference is a premier annual event at The University of Alabama that provides undergraduates an opportunity to highlight their research or creative activity.
In addition to bringing attention to the excellent work of University students, the Conference allows students to gain experience presenting, compete for cash prizes and form relationships with their faculty mentors and fellow Conference presenters.
